Earlier this morning, a rhino was discovered to have
escaped from the Detroit Zoo. It is currently unknown
how the rhino escaped but officials are investigating
the occurrence. The Rhino's caretaker, Rachel Perquet
has said Rhinos are very aggressive and should avoided
at all costs
. Police have asked that if you come into
contact with the rhino, Do not approach it
and contact animal control.
The local Elementary school is hosting a bake sale. The bake sale will be from 10am-5pm on Thursday, February 7th. The school is asking that there be no tree nut products as there are many people with severe allergies. The bake sale is to take place in the Cafeteria and gym and that parking will be available in the rear lot.
